LPD Investigates Recent Vandalism, Seeking Tips from Public

The Lexington Police Department received some calls around 7:50 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, on vandalism north of the soccer complex. Benches, tables, concrete floors and signs around the equipment areas on the old runway had been spray painted. Further down, at the Lexington Fire Department Training Facility, the metal cargo containers, signs and a front end loader / excavator had also been painted. Something had also been used to scratch graffiti onto a portion of the windows of the loader.
