James Wilburn Russell, age 33 of Lexington, was indicted by the Henderson County Grand Jury on June 2, 2020 on one count of aggravated sexual battery. Officers Wendy Nichols, Jeremiah Baggett and Brooklyn Black, with the Lexington Police Department, began an investigation due to an incident that occurred, according to the court documents, on or about May 2, 2020.
