Many have “Cabin Fever” from practicing social distancing, due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The community has come together by placing stuffed bears in their windows, porches, and mailboxes for children to go “Bear Hunting” to pass the time and get ‘out’ of the house.
The Lexington Progress has joined in on the fun! Bears are hidden in the pages of this week’s edition. They may be hidden in articles, hanging on advertisements, or stuck in headlines., and vary in size!
You must circle all the hidden bears, total them up, and bring your total by to us (either by using our convenient drop box, located to the left of our front door, or by mailing to 508 S. Broad St., Lexington, TN 38351). Bears must be circled on original newsprint, no photo copies.
The first person to bring the correct total to our office will win a gift certificate to one of our local stores. All entries will be entered into a drawing for a one year subscription to The Lexington Progress.
Contest is open to all ages, subscribers or non-subscribers. Employees of The Lexington Progress, and their families are not eligible to enter.
Good luck and Happy Hunting!
