Russell Signs with Union University

Friday, January 10, 2020 was another big day for the LHS Lady Tigers Softball program. Morgan Russell became the latest member of the program to sign a letter of intent to play college softball. With family, friends and teammates surrounding her, she inked her signature on the dotted line to continue her softball career with the Union University Lady Bulldogs.
Morgan has been an outstanding member of the Lexington High School Lady Tigers softball program over her three years being on the team. She has a career .346 batting average, to go along with twenty doubles and has amassed sixteen homeruns through her junior year. These are stout numbers for a team that is loaded with talent.
