Scotts Hill Boys Basketball 5-1 on the Season

Scotts Hill’s season continued last week as the Lions traveled to Clarksburg last Tuesday night and defeated the Rockets 73-41. The Lions started with a bang, scoring 47 points in the first half alone. Micah Scates led the scoring with 17 points. Tyler Crews and Bryce Allard had 12 points each. Dalton Bailey scored 8 points. River Milam totaled 6 points and Riley McClain totaled 5 points. Clint Powers and Colton Bailey scored 4 points each, Mason Clendenion scored 3 points, and Connor Maness had 2 points. Bryce Allard scored 4 three-pointers, River Milam and Dalton Bailey scored 2 three-pointers each, and Tyler Crews scored 1 three-pointer. Defensively, Micah Scates had 10 rebounds, Tyler Crews had 9 rebounds, and River Milam and Riley McClain had 4 rebounds each. Colton Bailey totaled 3 steals. Last Thursday night, the Lions traveled to Big Sandy. Scotts Hill won this matchup 75-34.
