Big Red Tiger Football Celebrates with Awards Banquet

Last Friday night, the Lexington High School football team hosted a banquet in the LHS cafeteria to celebrate the success the Tigers had in the 2019 football season. Lexington went 6-6 on the season and with region wins over Liberty, North Side, South Side, and Chester County, the Tigers secured the second seed in the 6-AAAA regional standings. Lexington also traveled to the second round of the state playoffs. During the banquet, the seniors were recognized for their leadership and various awards were given to players who demonstrated excellent character, determination, and teamwork throughout the season. Andrerius Swift received the “Best Blocker” award. Conner Wood received the “Courage” award. Keyonte Moffitt received the “Bravest of the Brave” award. Duerell Bard received the “Leadership” award.
