The utility boards met in a brief session on Tuesday evening, November 26, 2019. Director Jeff Graves of the Lexington Electric System gave an update on the storm clean up and on the number of recent outages. “The worst storm in LES history occurred on October 26th,” Graves said. “Preliminary estimates are in the $3,000,000 range.” Graves also said some federally predetermined financial thresholds have to be met before it can be declared a FEMA event. “Some customers were out for fifteen days before power was restored, and…
