Tigers Receive Regional Awards

Lexington High School Football players recently were selected for 6-AAAA All-Region awards and mentions.

In Region 6-AAAA, a host of Lexington Tiger football players recently were awarded with some very high accolades, for their accomplishments throughout the season. On offense, Braxton Grice was awarded the 6-AAAA Offensive MVP and the Offensive Lineman of the Year went to Andrerius Swift.

On the defensive side of the ball, two Lexington High School Tigers received awards, as well. The Defensive Back of the Year was awarded to Jordan Smith, while Jaden Horn was named the Defensive MVP for Region 6-AAAA.
Connor Wood also was named as the Kicker of the Region this year, also.

The 1st and 2nd team All-Region selections were made with a few more of the Big Red Tigers names being announced. Making the 1st Team All-Region were Josh Williams, Latrell Williamson, Caleb Gorden and Keyonte Moffit. On the 2nd Team All-Region roster is Kenneth Jones and Duerell Bard. Honorable mentions for Region 6-AAAA for the Tigers were Levi Harvey, Trevon Johnson and Hayden Anderson.
