The board for the Lexington – Henderson County Everett Horn Library met on Monday evening, November 25, 2019. Present were the board chair, David Sullivan, along with board members Mark Bartel, W. Clay Crook, Blake Stanfill and Gloria Parker, along with Library Director Crystal Ozier and Genny Carter, Director of the Hatchie River Regional Library. The board discussed a salary increase for the library director, as well as Christmas bonuses for the staff. The board decided on a salary increase to $35,000.00 for Ozier, effective immediately. A $300.00 Christmas bonus was approved for the director, a $200.00 bonus for the assistant director, and a $150.00 for each of the other four staff.
The first portion of the Henderson County funds, $22,000.00, has been received and should reflect as deposited on Tuesday, November 26th. Funds from the City of Lexington are still on hold pending paperwork certification from…
