It was a good weekend for the Scotts Hill Student Anglers, and even being brutally cold on Saturday morning the team participated in the West Tennessee Regional BASS series. Chandler Pruett and Braden Wilson won the high school tournament at Paris Landing, this Saturday, November 9, 2019, with 16.15 lbs. This was also the first win on the season for the Scotts Hill Student Anglers. J.D. Stack and Levi Allen placed 8th, Maddox Derryberry and Tyler Maxwell came in 14th, Brayden Branson and Shane Wood placed 20th and Bracyn Sullivan and Hunter Reedy were 21st in the high school division. The team of Jaxon Sullivan and Chase Milholen would have had a solid 2nd place finish but due to mechanical issues they were not able to return to weigh-in before the scales closed.

In the junior division team, Chase Stubblefield and Carson Cooper came in 2nd Place and Carson Copper got the big fish title with 5.79 lbs. Kaleb Winstead and Dalton Sheedy also placed 3rd in juniors. Overall the Scotts Hill Student Anglers had a great outcome at the tournament. Next week, a few teams will be headed to Chickamauga to try to claim a State Open title and advance in the state standings.
