The special guest speaker at the October 29th Lexington Rotary Club was Ramona Moore from Lexington Broadcasting WZLT-99.3. Her voice is familiar from her different programs, but her behind the scenes work is essential to the daily operation of the radio station. She was introduced by station owner and manager Don Enochs who praised her twenty-two years with WZLT.
“I wasn’t planning on working there,” she said, “but I won something at the radio station, went to pick it up, and was offered a job.” One of her first jobs was to write a commercial. “It was a Christmas commercial and only had one line, and it took me thirteen tries!” she said laughing, but praised…
