Wendy’s Hosts Fire Inspector Keith Wallace at Chamber Business Breakfast

The Henderson County Chamber of Commerce held their Business Breakfast at Wendy’s on Friday, October 25th. Yes, you read that correctly, Wendy’s, but owner/manager Blaine Sumler says that it will be the first of the year before the establishment starts offering breakfast.

“As of right now, we are planning for the drive-in to open from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and then the dining room around 9:00 a.m. Wendy’s nationwide is moving towards breakfast around the first quarter of 2020, so look for the big announcements around the first of the year,” Sumler said. The eggs for each of the breakfast sandwiches will be fresh, freshly crafted, along with coffee specialties.

The guest speaker for the breakfast was Lexington Fire Inspector Keith Wallace. Wallace has thirty years of fire fighting service, but “I’d rather speak to you an hour on fire prevention than to spend ten minutes on a fire,” he said. Prevention is just that…
