Henderson County School Board Meets

The Board of Education for Henderson County Schools met in regular session on Thursday evening, September 12th, with Daniel Lewis leading the invocation and Chairman Tommy Gordon leading the pledge of allegiance. The board nominated and elected new officers with Tommy Gordon continuing as chairman, Dennis Ray McDaniel as vice-chairman, and Daniel Lewis as the TLM representative.
Director of Schools, Steve Wilkinson, officially read the exemplary schools status into the minutes of the board, commending both Lexington High School and Scotts Hill High School, Westover Elementary, South Side Elementary and Beaver Elementary.
