Lexington Woman Charged with Child Abuse and Neglect, Assault and Drug Charges
Rachel Overman, age 27, has been arrested on charges of assault – domestic related, assault and child abuse and neglect.

Rachel Danielle Overman, age 27 of Lexington, was arrested on September 3rd for assault- domestic related (two counts), assault and child abuse and neglect. There was an additional arrest on August 24, 2019, for child abuse and neglect, possession of drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine related to a traffic stop on West Church Street.
According to the affidavit from Officer Jeremy Cox of the Lexington Police Department, “I made contact with the defendant, Ms. Rachel Overman, who was located in the back seat of the vehicle along with her daughter who appeared to be about six years of age.
