Utility Boards Meet

The utility boards for the City of Lexington met in regular session on Tuesday evening, August 27th, at the Lexington Utilities Operations Facility on Maple Street. Vice-Mayor Sandra Wood chaired and presented for the Lexington Electric System. There were six outages in August, five were in Parsons and one in Lexington, all due to storm conditions.
Mr. Fred Shuster presented on behalf of the building that had damage during the May 29th fire on Mig Drive. The claim had been recently denied by the insurance company for LES, as there was no liability on the part of LES. Shuster also said that his deed did not call for an easement for the…
