Lexington opened the football season at South Gibson Friday night. The Tigers were in hopes of starting the season with a win and ending a seven-game losing streak, instead South Gibson dismantled the Tigers, 30-7. The loss extends Lexington’s regular season losing streak to eight games. In a game that was reminiscent of the opening game two years ago, Lexington struggled to score, and the defense was suspect from start to finish.
