Lexington City Board Meets

The board of aldermen and mayor for Lexington met on Tuesday evening, August 6th, and approved the second reading of the ordinance to amend the beer ordinance. The board also approved the ordinance to extend the e-citation program used by the Lexington Police Department. The board also approved a surplus property request by Chief Roger Loftin, and he introduced the newest police officer, Katie Carroll. The board then approved the initial bond resolution, which authorizes the first steps in the process.
