THE WAIT IS OVER! I am about to drop my predictions for the 2019 Tennessee Volunteer football season! I will predict every game and tell you the general score of the game, along with a few key points along the way. So, shall we dip our toes in the prediction pond or do we dive right in? Let’s swan dive!
August 31st Georgia State
30-point blowout (1-0)
This will be the second season of Head Coach Jeremy Pruitt’s tenure with the Vols, and he has a much easier opponent than West Virginia last year. Georgia State is… bad, they’re bad. They were 2-10 last year and had the worst defense in the country last season. Jim Chaney will be salivating like he’s looking at a buffet. I expect Guarantano to throw the pigskin around for three quarters and take a seat. I’m interested to see how the defensive line looks, as well as the offensive line too. They both should be able to dominate, if they don’t it could be a long year.

September 7th BYU
17-point solid victory (2-0)
I think a late score to seal the win for the vols will put this game at a 38-21 type game. The Cougars should be a solid team. I think they will play the Vols close in the first half. They have a gunslinger at QB who loves to let loose with the ball. Don’t be surprised if we’re down a score early.
