The boards for Lexington Electric System and Lexington Gas and Water Systems met on Tuesday evening, July 23rd, at the Lexington Utilities Operations Center. Lexington Electric System reported two brief outages for the month, both involving right of way issues.
LES Manager Jeff Graves also discussed the number of phone calls from the June outage, with 669 calls recorded in the first hour of the outage. From 6:00 p.m. on Friday until midnight on Saturday, there were 2,800 calls, and by 6:00 a.m. on Monday the call total was over 3,500.
