The recent announcement for the near future closing of our Community Center at 145 South Main, due to significant structure damage caused by mold and mildew creates a challenge for our county and city that will require teamwork from leaders of both governments along with support from business and various community organizations. Good and aggressive community groups add much to our quality of life in Henderson County and having a place for them to gather is critical and we should address this ASAP. A recent prediction of population and economic growth for Henderson County indicates we are likely to be the fastest growing rural county in…
