A Lexington citizen, Glenn Kirk, wants both the City and County Governments, along with support of businesses, to work together to come up with a solution for the Henderson County Community Center.

The recent announcement for the near future closing of our Community Center at 145 South Main, due to significant structure damage caused by mold and mildew creates a challenge for our county and city that will require teamwork from leaders of both governments along with support from business and various community organizations. Good and aggressive community groups add much to our quality of life in Henderson County and having a place for them to gather is critical and we should address this ASAP.
