Traffic Rerouted Along South Main Wednesday Due to Wreck

The Lexington Police and Fire Departments closed off the 100 block of South Main Street Monday, June 17th, from 1:50 p.m. until about 2:15 p.m. due to a two-vehicle accident. The back of a black Nissan Milano parked along the southbound lane of South Main Street, near First Baptist Church, and the passenger door and front quarter panel of a white Nissan Altima, were damaged in the incident. A passenger in the white Altima was taken by EMS to be checked for a possible head injury.
