City of Lexington Partners with the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and USDA to Improve Wi-Fi on Main Street

City of Lexington Mayor Jeff Griggs announced on Monday, June 10th, that the City of Lexington will receive a Wi-Fi grant from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development along with financial support from the Southwest Tennessee USDA to improve Wi-Fi access for visitors to the downtown area, as well as residents and local businesses.

Mayor Griggs said, “This grant will provide free Wi-Fi access to many Henderson County residents who frequent the downtown area. It can also serve as the foundation for expanding internet access to other areas of Henderson County. The area of access will not only include the downtown area but…
