Tim Parker was given a surprise retirement party on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.

Fire Department Lieutenant Timothy Parker is retiring effective May 31, 2019. Tim has been with the City of Lexington Fire Department since July 3rd, 1993 totaling almost 26 years. Over the years, Tim has served many ranks including: Firefighter, Lieutenant and Shift Commander. He has also served special assignments such as: Self-contained breathing apparatus technician and has been a longtime member of the Hazardous Materials Response Team.
