The mayor and board of aldermen for the City of Lexington met in regular session on Tuesday evening, May 7th, at 6:00 p.m. Keith Cotton, Executive Director for the Beech River Regional Airport made and received approval of a funding allocation for $8,763.00, which completes the city’s portion of the contract, while a motion that would have approved mandatory direct deposit for new city employees failed for lack of a second.
