Lions Atop District 14-AA at End of the Regular Season

The Scotts Hill Lions finished up their district 14-AA schedule this past week, with a sweep of Jackson North Side. Those two wins solidified the Lions as having the best record in the district and hosting the tournament at Scotts Hill. On Monday, the Lions took the trip to Jackson to take on North Side. The Lions jumped out in the top of the first. Tyler Crews was hit by a pitch and Dale Jowers followed that up with a walk. After two wild pitches, Crews scored and Jowers advanced to second and later scored on an error. North Side would tie the game in the bottom of the first inning with two runs of their own.
