Lexington City Schools Announce Staff Changes

The Lexington City School System announced changes for the upcoming 2019 – 2020 school year.

Cindy Olive, Director of Schools for the Lexington City Schools System, announced some staff changes for the fall 2019-2020 school year. At Lexington Middle School, Whitney Owens will become Principal, and Paden Buckley as Assistant Principal. Beth Deere will become the new Director of Data Quality at the LCSS Board of Education. The following changes will also occur at Caywood Elementary and Lexington Middle School: Vicki Jones will become the 4th-8th Academic Coach, with Amy Taylor for Art at Caywood, and Melonie Shelby for Art at Lexington Middle. “We are so excited about all of these educators stepping into new roles this fall,” Olive said.
