Elijah Ujcich Awarded Memorial Scholarship

Elijah Ujcich, a Lexington High School senior, was awarded the Coach Jim Stowe Memorial Football Scholarship at the 2019 LHS Senior Award Ceremony by Mr. Tommy Gordon, a former LHS football player. Elijah played on the “Jim Stowe Field” for four years for the LHS Football Team. Elijah surely left his mark on our school and played an important role for the LHS football program by being an excellent role model in the classroom, on the field, and in the community. Some outstanding features of Elijah’s LHS football experiences are playing in the State Playoffs for three years; Region 6-4A Linebacker of the year (2018); Team MVP, which was chosen by Team Players (2018); Two time All-West TN Team (2017-2018); Leadership Team; and was chosen by his Coaches as Team Captain.
