GPS Markers Placed at Beech Lake

If you have recently driven through the Beech Lake area, you may have noticed some black and white chessboard squares painted along the roadways. BRWDA Manager Keith Wysiadlowski said that the markings were recently placed by TVA, and are GPS tags that can be used by passing aircraft. A helicopter flew overhead Wednesday, April 17th, for some test runs.
