The Scotts Hill Lady Lions fell in back-to-back tough district 14-AA matchups. The Lady Lions’ softball team took on Chester County and Lexington, this past week, and fought valiantly before falling. On Monday, the Lady Lions hosted Chester County. It was Scotts Hill striking first with Leah Atkinson singling in Shayla Phillips. That would be the last time Scotts Hill scored in the game, as Scotts Hill got a runner on third only three more times on the night. Chester County had a four-run fifth inning and then added two more runs in the seventh to make it 6-1. The Lady Lions had to quickly regroup as another tough district opponent sat on the horizon.
