Lexington’s Lady Tigers picked up their 19th win of the season Monday and remained perfect in district play with a 2-0 shutout win over Riverside. The game was the first outing since last Tuesday when Lexington finished tournament play at the Warrior Classic in Murfreesboro. In that tournament the Lady Tigers lost their first game of the season but ended up winning 6 of 7 games. Lexington was scheduled to play in the West Tennessee TSCA tournament over the weekend but due to some of the teams dropping out, the Lady Tigers took the weekend off to rest. Monday was a huge win for Lexington and the Lady Tigers have three more big ones this week. Last night Lexington played host to Scotts Hill and tonight at 5:30 the Lady Tigers will host South Side. Lexington was originally scheduled to play South Side on Thursday but with the threat of rain, the game will be played today. All students that wear red to the game tonight will be given free admission. This is a very important game and Tiger Nation is asked to wear red and be at the game to support the Lady Tigers.
