Disturbance Call Leads to Act of Terrorism Charge

A Henderson County man, Jonathan Cantrell, age 32, living in the Murphy Tower Road area of Cedar Grove, was arrested Monday evening, March 25th on Aggravated Assault, Domestic Assault, and Commission of an Act of Terrorism. Cantrell was advised that law enforcement was being dispatched to his residence on a disturbance call by Henderson County Communications. Court documents then say that “the defendant then did make the following statement on a recorded line after contacting the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department, ‘Do not pull up or I will feel threatened and I will shoot.
