Brunt Arrested on Charge of Aggravated Child Abuse

Jamie Lynn Brunt, age 19 of Lexington, was charged with Aggravated Child Abuse and Neglect on March 30th. According to court documents, after Brunt and her new born child both tested positive for methamphetamines, her one year old son was also given a five drug panel hair follicle test on March 15th, with a test result high enough to indicate that the toddler had been around the use of methamphetamines. The defendant was charged due to the fact that the defendant failed to protect the child from…
