Rain Spoils Tiger Baseball Opener

Lexington was prepared to open the season at McNairy, on Monday which was opening day of the 2019 season, but due to the rain early Monday morning, the field at McNairy was not in suitable playing condition. As a result, the opening game of the season was played yesterday at Lexington. Monday’s game at McNairy was rescheduled for today. The Tigers will be at Hardin County tomorrow and then travel to Bartlett on Saturday. Leading up to opening day, the Tigers had a pair of scrimmages in the preseason. Lexington picked up a win over…
