Lexington Man Captured by US Marshals After Chase

Michael Priestly Jowers, age 35 of Lexington, was apprehended on March 5th after a multi-county high speed chase.

According to Deputy Jeff Love with the US Marshals Service, Michael Priestly Jowers, age 35 of Lexington, was apprehended on March 5th after a multi-county high speed chase. Love said that the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force of the US Marshals Service assisted in the capture of Jowers, as well as the Tennessee Highway Patrol and law enforcement in Henderson, Madison, and Carroll Counties. Jowers was wanted for Violation of Parole and Violation of the Sex Offender Registry. After a long chase, Jowers wrecked his vehicle around 11:00 a.m. near the Highway 22 exit below Huntingdon, Tennessee, and now may face charges related to the chase within those different jurisdictions.
