Lexington City Board Meets

The Board of Aldermen and Mayor for the City of Lexington met in regular session on Tuesday evening, March 4th and began with a special presentation from Chris Hill, Park Manager at Natchez Trace State Park. The program is part of the park’s annual awareness efforts and Hill emphasized renovations at Pin Oak Lodge, increase Ranger led activities, the Heritage Breakfast on the 4th Thursday of each month, and Ranger Days on the second Saturday of each month. The board heard the second reading of an ordinance amending Title 4 of the Lexington Municipal Code relative to personal leave and of the code relative to holidays (adopting Presidents Day).
