Every year there is great anticipation and excitement surrounding opening day. The 2019 season started Monday for the Lady Tigers softball team and there are plenty of reasons to be excited. Lexington defeated McNairy Central in convincing fashion Monday night, 11-2. After three years of ending its season in the district tournament, the Lady Tigers are wanting to put together another special season and end it with a long postseason run.
