The Lady Lions Softball team’s season will start the 2019 season next week, and after a unwelcomed offseason. New head coach Drew Dance is nervous but ready to start this new season, “I’m nervous I can’t lie, I am, but I’m ready because I know these girls are ready and the coaching staff is ready. The girls know, we’re playing for a state championship. I wouldn’t be coaching if I didn’t want us to be the best in the state.”
Along with Coach Dance, the Lady Lions have two new assistant coaches as well; Candace Maness and Amanda Branson will be on the coaching staff this season for the Lady Lions. Amanda Branson was a former Lady Lions head coach several years ago and is now returning to the Lady Lions program.
