Family and friends of Hank Cooley gathered at the Beech Lake pavilion Thursday evening, February 28th, in a candlelight vigil. This was Cooley’s first birthday since his remains were found near Ayers Street in Lexington on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Cooley was listed as missing in either Lexington or Savannah on October 7th, but due to his age, 17, he was too old for an Amber Alert to be issued.
