Decatur County Board of Education Votes Not to Renew Scotts Hill Schools Agreement

The Decatur County Board of Education voted Thursday evening, February 14th, not to renew the agreement which provides funding for 155 students who attend school in Scotts Hill. Students who attend schools outside of their county often pay a tuition, and students along two bus routes that are closer to Scotts Hill, in Henderson County than to schools in Decatur County have had that tuition paid by the Decatur County Board of Education under agreements since 1999.
