Stolen Car Manhunt on Hwy. 104 North

A state trooper maintained security off a driveway in the 1100 block of Highway 104 North as three other patrol cars conducted a search of the nearby woods for a suspect in a stolen vehicle case. Sources confirmed that THP had been using a helicopter over the site to assist, and nearby the light-colored vehicle sat abandoned with the hood raised and the trunk ajar in a site between a mobile home and a shed on the property. A news tipster alerted The Lexington Progress around 1:14 p.m. on Friday, February 8th, and a search was still being conducted a little after 2:00 p.m.
