Although the marching and competition season is over, the Lexington Tiger Marching Band is still active in various activities. The most recent event took place a few days ago. The LHS Band recently had 14 students audition for All-West bands, against students from all across West Tennessee, with five students earning honors. Sophomore Keith Stanfill was selected for the 9-10 Red Band (3rd chair percussion) and junior Rilee Russell was selected for the 11-12 Red Band (18th chair clarinet). Adam Williams (tuba) was selected as an alternate for the 11-12 bands and Arianna Conway (clarinet) and Dalton French (tenor saxophone) were selected as alternates for the 9-10 bands. Congratulations to these students on this great accomplishment.
