Minor Collision at Highway 100 and Highway 22 Crossing

A two-vehicle accident occurred on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the crossing of Highway 200 and Highway 22.

There was a minor collision with slight injuries at the crossing of Highway 200 and Highway 22 on Tuesday, December 18th around 12:30 p.m. between a car and a gravel truck. The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the accident, quickly moving the gravel truck off the road to keep the intersection open. According to one of the bystanders at a nearby grocery, the gravel truck was headed west on Highway 100 and had slowed down to stop at the intersection and collided with a light blue Buick Le Sabre. The Buick had come from Highway 22 North and was at the turn off into Highway 100. The left front bumper of the truck was slightly damaged, but the front passenger side of the Buick received heavier damage.
