“Why I Stand for the Flag” was the topic of keynote speaker, County Mayor Eddie Bray, at Lexington High School’s Veterans Day ceremony on Monday afternoon, November 12th. In a time earmarked by political agenda and controversy, the words of Mayor Bray cut cleanly across the lines. “I served our beautiful flag in several foreign countries, and it lends a deep sense of patriotism when you see our flag flying on a foreign shore or being folded over the casket of one of our countrymen,” Bray said.
