The town of Scotts Hill started off the haunted holiday season with Main Street closed off on Tuesday evening, October 30th, for their Halloween Bash. The event had been scheduled for Halloween night, but severe weather warnings prompted the schedule change. It was an absolutely splendid event, with more trick or treaters than could possibly be counted. Churches and businesses opened up their parking lots for visitors and Main Street was packed on both sides and down the middle from the Police Department to the elementary school.
