Rock-N-Run at Scotts Hill Elementary

Scotts Hill Elementary School enjoyed a Rock-N-Run event Friday, August 31st, with a run early that morning, followed by a full day of fun outside with Towmater, Lightning McQueen, the Lion mascot and Ollie the Otter. The Healthy School Team was seen everywhere in their light blue t-shirts as the students jumped, romped, played, and enjoyed a beautiful day outside. Ice pops were free to hedge against the heat, and there was also drinks, snacks, and a popcorn stand. Various community agencies attended to help promote health and exercise awareness.
