LMS Football Takes Loss to USJ Bruins

LMS is improving but took a loss to a very good USJ team last Thursday. USJ struck early after receiving the opening kickoff and returning it to the LMS 45-yard line. On the first play from scrimmage, USJ scored from 45 yards out. The 2-point conversion failed but USJ led, 6-0. Lexington Middle returned the favor however when Devan Sherwood rumbled 75 yards for an LMS touchdown. The 2-point conversion was good and LMS took an 8-6 lead.
