The second reading of the resolution for a fire department training area at the edge of the soccer complex was approved in the August 7th meeting of the Lexington city board, and also approved the first reading of the ordinance to annex the property on Jerri Ann Road into the city limits. Greg Bird, Building Inspector for the City of Lexington, presented the 2025 Land Use and Transportation Plan Future Land Use Map.
