The Family Affair at Lexington High School was held Saturday, August 11th from 9:00 a.m. until noon.

A young boy reached out with eager hands to pet a baby goat, who nimbly escaped his grasp, only to twist around and put his small horns under the child’s hand. Others were petting a kangaroo or making conversation with a giant turtle. Small furry bunnies nipped at the grass with disdain, while a camel and a calf swished their tails in the early morning breeze. At the pony rides, a man told each of the children who rode by the name of their mount, then asked them to tell him what it was as they came back around.
