Gas-Water Operations Center Nears Completion

The boards for Lexington Utilities and for the Lexington Electric System met Tuesday evening, June 26th at Lexington City Hall. Sandra Wood, chair for the Lexington Electric System, called the board to order, and budget items for a 3.05% cost of living raise, and retirement options were approved to match other city employees. Director Jeff Graves reported that an extensive outage in the Sand Ridge area had been caused by a line belonging to Southwest Tennessee Electric, which had tripped the substation in Henderson County.
