The Board of Aldermen and Mayor for the Town of Scotts Hill held their monthly meeting Monday evening, June 4th. Candidate for the 72nd District, Gordon Wildridge, was a special guest, and certificates of appreciation from the Parks and Recreations Department were presented to Darryl Strickland and Justin Broughton for their assistance at the lawn mower races. The first reading of the budget was passed by the board, and it was decided that the tax rate would remain the same as last year’s. The board also discussed filling an administrative position at City Hall.
